Weekends: Camp Canaan Zipline Canopy Tour | Take a zipline tour over the Catawba River. High flying adventure takes you through the treetops for a unique and thrilling perspective.

November 15 - January 4 Carowinds Winterfest – Sights, sounds, food and experiences of the holiday season

Mid November – Mid February – Ice Skating. Located on the upper pond of White water center at US National Whitewater Center

November 16 – January 20 Ice skating in Rock Hill? Oh yes there is! 205 Saluda Street. Celebrate the holidays on ice at the Founders Holiday Ice Rink in downtown Rock Hill Only in Old Town  

November 22 – January 5 Speedway Christmas 4 mile drive thru course with lights synchronized to Christmas music & more. Speedway Christmas

November 22 – December 29 from 5 – 9pm Holidays at the Garden at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden   Annual event featuring lighted musically-orchestrated topiaries and more

November 27 – January 3 Light the Knights & Charlotte Christmas Village at Truist Field. Feel the magic of the holidays with thousands of lights, beautiful Christmas trees, and enjoy Ice skating, snow tubing, shopping from around the world, traditional flavors of Christmas, unique handmade gifts and live entertainment. November 29 FridayPenland Tree Farm – Open for the season! Hayrides, roasted marshmallows, and choose and cut your own tree. Enjoy this family tradition.

December 1- December 26 -Christmastown USA presented by the town of McAddenville  2024 this spectacular display, ranked as one of the top ten Christmas events in the whole country!  If you've never seen it, make it this year!

December 2 – December 30 Step into a winter wonderland during the enchanting Festival of Trees display in the heart of Downtown Belmont

December 5 - 8 " Christmasville"   in downtown Rock Hill!  A charming holiday village and outdoor walking festival in Rock Hill's historic Old Town.  Events include the Reindeer Romp 5K, carriage rides, historic tours, carolers, theater, and much more!

January 1 - Wednesday 11- 4pm - The annual New Year's Day Barefoot Challenge!  Lake Wylie's own  Carolina Show Ski Team  travels to Lake Norman to compete in this bone chilling competition.  Come and watch!

January 4, 11, 18, 25 Saturday - 10am -4pm, "While Away the Winter – Working Outside".  Living History Saturdays in January focus on wintertime activities including: outdoor farm work, indoor projects, meat preservation, and building community with friends and neighbors. Each weekend will highlight different elements of how people in the Carolina Piedmont whiled away the winter. Historic Brattonsville :
