March 2015 - Lake Wylie Events

3/5 Thursday  -   Allison Creek Bluegrass  , first and third Thursday of each month, corner of Hands Mill Road and Allison Creek Road.  Different bands are featured each night, along with open jam sessions.  Food is available beginning 6:30pm.

 

3 /14 Saturday  - Green River Revival at the  US National Whitewater Center   in Charlotte!  St. Patrick’s Day celebration with the 5K “Color Me Green” run, corn hole tournaments, live music and a Shamrock Green river!

 

3/19 Thursday  -   Allison Creek Bluegrass  , first and third Thursday of each month, corner of Hands Mill Road and Allison Creek Road.  Different bands are featured each night, along with open jam sessions.  Food is available beginning 6:30pm.

 

3/12 Thursday 5:30pm – “St. Patricks Day” Business After Hours with the Lake Wylie Chamber .  Held at the Clover Community Bank.

 

3/26 Thursday 8pm – Listen to the captivating music of Shana Tucker, a singer/songwriter and distinctive cellist at the Clover School District Auditorium .  Jazz influenced contemporary folk, sultry and soulful.      

 

April 2015 - Lake Wylie Events

 

4/2 Thursday  -   Allison Creek Bluegrass  , first and third Thursday of each month, corner of Hands Mill Road and Allison Creek Road.  Different bands are featured each night, along with open jam sessions.  Food is available beginning 6:30pm.

 

4/7 Tuesday 8pm – Wrap up the Performing Arts Series with the final performance of the season at the Clover School District Auditorium .  “Live From Nashville,” produced by the top rated shows in Myrtle Beach, Pigeon Forge, and Branson.  You’ll be tapping your toes and reliving the musical moments that gave Music City its name.

4 /17-19 Friday thru Sunday  - Tuck Fest Outdoor competitions and live music at the  US National Whitewater Center   in Charlotte!  Land and water races, by foot, bike, raft and kayak!  Come to watch or come to win.

 

4/23 Thursday 5:30pm – Business After Hours with the Lake Wylie Chamber .   

 

4/30 -  Broadway caliber performance of “The Music Man” by the SC state championship choir, the  Clover High Choraliers  .  Performances at 8pm on Thursday and Saturday, and Sunday matinee at 3pm.

5 /24 Sunday  - Memorial Day celebration at the  US National Whitewater Center   in Charlotte!  Free live music, fireworks, food and fun.  You can see the fireworks from the north end of Lake Wylie.
